5pEXPO’2010: Exhibition Community – Problems and Perspectives

On the 8th of June the 4th International Forum of Exhibition Industry was opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds. It is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and Expocentre, ZAO under the auspices of the Moscow Government, Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, and Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

At the official opening participants and guests were welcomed by General Director of Expocentre Vladislav L. Malkevich who emphasized that innovative projects integration and goods and services promotion depend on exhibition and congress activity to a great extent.

On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Strashko V.P., Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, addressed forum participants. He pointed the unicity of the event that gathers all exhibition companies for demonstrating their capacities and common current problems discussing.

Forum 5pEXPO’2010 is considered to be a business event. General meeting of participants of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs that took place on the 7th of June in Expocentre was coincided with this date. Important up-to-date problems noted by the Russian exhibition community were investigated concurrently. Vice President of Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, UFI Chairman of the European Department, RUEF President S.P. Alekseev congratulated Forum participants and stressed its significance.

The 4th international forum of exhibition industry 5pEXPO’2010 has started working. It will last until June 10. Engaged companies are invited to take part in Forum.
