Ensuring security at public events is one of the topical issues of the Forum 5pEXPO

June, 6 – 8, 2012 Expocentre Fairgrounds and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation will hold the Exhibition and Conference Security – Salon and Conference within 5pEXPO’2012, the 6th International Forum of Exhibition Industry  under the auspices of the Moscow City Government and RUEF – the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

Taking into account the existing terrorist threat and a special nature of exhibition and convention events which is characterized by mass attendance this issue has become high on the agenda and attracts a great interest from exhibition professionals.

The Exhibition and Conference Security – Salon and Conference will represent the latest innovations of the Russian and foreign manufacturers. It is the equipment for surveillance and information security, technical means and services to provide security during mass events. The Salon features the presentation of the facilities, training methods for security personnel and etc.

The programme of business-related events includes the roundtable discussion Security and quality standards during exhibition and convention events. The exhibition community brought up the topic of the ensuring security at public events for the first time at the research and practice conference the Exhibition and Conference Security that was held within 5pEXPO’2011, the 5th International Forum of Exhibition Industry.

The participants of the roundtable will continue the discussion concerning trends of development of the domestic and external security market, the ways of further improvement of the legislation in the sphere of activities of non-governmental security structures and the interaction between business and state structures in the organization of exhibitions and conventions.

The largest exhibition complexes and congress centers, the leading operators of the industry, companies of the field of exhibition security and many others will be traditionally represented at 5pEXPO’2012, the 6th International Forum of Exhibition Industry. About 300 Russian and foreign specialists of the exhibition business field from more than 40 countries will attend these events.
