5pExpo agenda is established

On 4-6 June 2014 Expocentre Fairgrounds will be hosting the 8th edition of the 5pExpo Forum of the Exhibition Industry.  The show is organized by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expocentre ZAO, with support from the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) and the Moscow City Government.

According to the Steering Committee of 5pExpo’2014, the agenda of the forum has been formulated taking into account trends and factors having impact on the national and global exhibition and meetings industry.

The centrepiece of the forum will be the 5th Russian Conference Exhibition and Meetings Sector: Economic Growth Driver. The delegates to the conference will discuss the Vision for the Development of the Exhibition and Meetings Industry in Russia, variants of state support for the sector and ways to improve the regulatory basis with regards to Russia’s growing involvement in the global economy; they will also look at regional development projects, venue construction plans and address other important industry issues.

The programme of the conference will include seminars, master classes and presentations featuring the latest trends in the global exhibition business, innovations and intellectual property protection issues, and presentations promoting Expocentre’s new project - Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions.

A special role at the Forum will be played by the expoPRODUCT exhibition - a trade show for the latest technologies and equipment, design and services for the exhibition, meetings and event industries.

The exhibition will host the 2014 edition of the Expodesign. Best Russian Stands competition, which will present innovative stand and display designs, and demonstrate the potential of new structural and decorating materials.
