5PEXPO’2014 TO FEATURE NEW PROJECT IN SUPPORT OF YOUTH BUSINESS

The 8th 5pExpo International Forum of the Exhibition Industry, which will be held on 4-6 June 2014 at Expocentre Fairgrounds, will bring together leading Russian exhibition operators and their colleagues from across the globe.  
Among the delegates who will be discussing major challenges facing the exhibition and meeting industries and prospects for their development will be representatives of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF), OJSC Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy, Euroexpo Exhibition Company, RESTEC, ITE International Group of Companies, Expoforum ZAO, Messe Dusseldorf, Yekaterinburg Expo, NEGUS EXPO International, Novosibirsk Expocentre, Baltic Expo OAO. There will also be companies and organizations that are actively involved in the development of the exhibition and meeting industries including World Trade Center Moscow, Belgorod Chamber of Commerce and Industry, RussCom IT Systems, OCTANORM RUS OOO, Expoconsta ZAO, ExpoGlobus, and SYBA Messbau GmbH. They will be joined by senior management and experts from Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow.
The Forum is held by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expocentre ZAO, with support from the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
The 5pExpo’2014 Forum will be held concurrently with the 5th All-Russian Conference on Exhibition, Fair and Congress Activities as a Tool to Improve Competitiveness and Modernization of the Russian Economy. The Conference will be attended by President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergei Katyrin.
The delegates will discuss key areas of development of the national economy, steps to be taken by the government to enhance that development and improve regulatory framework in light of Russia’s active integration into the global economy, as well as schemes and projects for regional development and plans for the construction of new exhibition venues. The forum will, for the first time, feature a panel discussion on the Framework for a Draft Law Regulating the Exhibition and Meeting Industries in Russia which will address specific features of public contract in exhibition business as part of the Federal Contract System.
